Musc Outreblanc by Guerlain touched with 22-carat gold leaf

Inspired by the scent of Musc Outreblanc, artist and sculptor Anne Lopez has created a series of exceptional plates in immaculate stucco touched with 22-carat gold leaf.

Delicate, almost ethereal, each plate's unique design is sculpted by hand, for a limited-edition collection of 500 pieces imbued with the artist's signature freshness of movement.

From the raw material emerges the most delicate of forms. Highlighted by pure notes of vibrant neroli, Musc Outreblanc's immaculate musk accord hangs, suspended, between innocence and sensuality. As soft as a caress on bare skin, as raw as the chalky feel of a block of white marble.

“For me, collaborating on this fragrance was self-evident. I completely identified with the story of Musc Outreblanc, its sensoriality, minerality, and white, which is the colour I prefer to work with.” - Anne Lopez.
To celebrate Musc Outreblanc, Guerlain has called upon the talents of Parisian sculptor Anne Lopez to bring the fragrance's unique olfactory trail to life. In this decorative plate to adorn L'Art & La Matière's exquisite bottle, she has shaped delicate flowers blooming out of powdered white stucco with subtlety and precision - as though the purity and sensuality of Musc Outreblanc, captured by the artist’s hand, has become tangible.

“I sculpted the fragrance to preserve the very clean facets of musk, while maintaining their unique texture.” - Delphine Jelk, Guerlain Perfumer Just as a sculptor reveals the exquisite movement hidden within a block of marble, Guerlain Perfumer Delphine Jelk has shaped a monolith of immaculate musks to reveal their full complexity, shattering to reveal a radiant white floral heart.
