Elie Saab RESORT 2025

Elie Saab's whirlwind of creativity knows no bounds. He's simultaneously unveiling a 26-piece see-now-buy-now capsule collection with Ipekyol, overseeing his first branded residential tower in Abu Dhabi, finalizing his Paris couture collection, and preparing for a grand "Elie's World" extravaganza in Riyadh this fall. This man thrives on a challenge, and he embraces them all with a characteristically cool and collected grace.

This latest resort collection, however, reveals a deeper, more personal narrative. It's a love letter to 1950s romance, a homage to the cinematic grandeur of Cinecittà, and an ode to the ethereal beauty of the Giardini di Villa Melzi. This Italian influence reflects a homecoming of sorts; after branching out from Beirut, Saab found a welcoming embrace in Italy.

He seamlessly blends his signature aesthetic – impeccably tailored cuts, diverse volumes, the captivating movement of tiered fringe, luxurious lace, intricate embroidery, and delicate floral macramé – with a broadened daywear offering. This reflects his commitment to "accompanying women from morning to night." While these looks are more relaxed than his usual fare, they are far from casual. Think reworked staples, from crisp flares and denim to jumpsuits with feminine cuts, elevated workwear silhouettes in exquisite fabrics, and breezy ensembles in white cotton poplin adorned with Italian-inspired floral motifs in black and sky blue.

Saab's approach to occasion wear is particularly astute. Wedding guests will find plenty of options to wear again and again, and even the minimalist bride might find her perfect match. A captivating palette of desert sunset hues – "garden lily pink," "cappuccino," and coppery rose – flatters every complexion.

Elie Saab's resort collection is a testament to his enduring talent and his ability to seamlessly blend his signature style with contemporary trends, creating a collection that is both timeless and utterly desirable.
