Giambattista Valli Home Collection: A Celebration of Artisanal Craftsmanship

The inaugural tabletop collection from the legendary fashion designer Giambattista Valli is a testament to artisanal pride and creative passion. Over three years in the making, each piece reflects the skills of exceptional artisans from Europe and North Africa, including the esteemed Augarten Vienna porcelain factory, which provides all the porcelain elements for this exquisite collection.

This collection revolves around two central themes: "EN PLEIN AIR," which evokes the romance of a French garden, and "CAIRO JAIPUR," featuring soft green tones in the iconic melon shape, complemented by champagne bowls in a spectrum of yellow to brown.

"This collection is a conversation," explains the Italian designer, highlighting the artisans' skills and his experiences in Paris as his primary inspirations. "It’s about sharing culture and excellence."

EN PLEIN AIR

This theme showcases particularly intricate and artistic decor, capturing the essence of a French garden with beautiful roses, lush leaves, and delicate butterflies and insects. The collection includes coffee cups, dinner plates, and dessert plates. Each individual piece is meticulously crafted, set upon the exquisite baroque shape of the plates, and painted in meticulous detail over countless hours by our master painters.

The collection is available exclusively on a made-to-order basis for the discerning customer.

The collections of the Italian couturier have consistently embodied an aspirational lifestyle, infused with a romantic Parisian flair. To craft his enchanting array of tabletop treasures, he combines his flair for storybook elegance—drawing inspiration from the lush motifs of his own garden—with unparalleled craftsmanship from around the globe.

The exquisite porcelain, featuring hand-painted floral designs and elegant matte champagne bowls, is created in partnership with Augarten Wien, Vienna’s oldest and most distinguished porcelain manufacturer. These treasures are complemented by a selection of floral-embroidered and printed linens, gold-plated metal and bamboo utensils, and breathtaking glassware. This includes hand-painted pieces by Austria's renowned Lobmeyr, alongside simpler, tinted creations from the esteemed Murano glass-blower David Fuin.

"I am very proud to have worked with Giambattista Valli on bringing his vision for tabletop to life. His couture sensibility and signature femininity translates beautifully to the world of home. Whether it's a tiered tulle confection of a gown or hand-painted floral plates made from the finest porcelain, craftsmanship has always been central to Valli’s designs and this collection, created in partnership with the finest makers throughout Europe and North Africa, is no exception." -Lauren Santo Domingo
